MapleCore is a single-vendor, direct-to-consumer electronics platform operated by MapleCore Canada Inc.. We showcase, manage, and sell our own catalogue of electronics โ not a marketplace, not a reseller network โ so we stay accountable for every product, price, and post-purchase interaction.
Our story
MapleCore began with a simple frustration: buying electronics shouldn't feel like decoding a spec sheet. Our founding team was helping a family member pick a laptop for university. Every site repeated the same specs โ 15.6" FHD, 8GB DDR4, 512GB SSD โ and none answered the one question that actually mattered: "Will this still feel fast two years from now?"
Over coffee one evening in Calgary, the idea took shape on a paper napkin. What if buying a laptop could feel as clear as buying a pair of running shoes โ where the store helps you understand fit, purpose, and trade-offs before you look at the price?
Our first product wasn't a laptop. It was a comparison page: twelve models, three use cases, and an honest verdict for each. Strangers started forwarding it, and within a quarter customers asked us to sell the products ourselves. We've since rebuilt the whole stack on a single thesis: every page on MapleCore should feel like it was designed by someone who actually shops here.
We incorporated as MapleCore Canada Inc. in Canada to give the brand a transparent legal home โ a stable entity that stands behind every warranty claim, refund, and data-protection request. Our merchant of record, our engineering team, and our customer-support humans all sit under that single roof.
