Data we collect
To operate the Services, we collect information you provide directly — name, email, phone, shipping address, and order history — along with limited device and browsing information such as IP address, session identifiers, and referrer URLs. Payment card data is handled entirely by our PCI-compliant payment processor; MAPLE never stores full card numbers on our servers.
How we use it
We use your data to fulfil and ship orders, provide customer support, send transactional messages (order confirmations, delivery updates, OTPs), personalise recommendations, detect fraud, and improve our catalogue and website. We do not sell personal data.
Cookies
MAPLE uses first-party cookies for authentication, cart persistence, and theme preferences. Optional analytics cookies help us understand aggregate usage patterns. You can clear or block cookies through your browser at any time, though some site features may not work as expected.
Third-party sharing
We share data with a limited set of vetted processors — payment gateways, logistics partners, email/SMS providers, and cloud hosting — strictly to deliver the service you requested. Each processor operates under a data-processing agreement and may only use the data for the purposes we specify.
Security
All data in transit is encrypted via TLS. Passwords are stored as salted hashes and never in plain text. We restrict internal access to personal data on a strict need-to-know basis and log administrative actions for audit. Despite our best efforts, no online service is 100% secure; we urge you to choose strong, unique passwords.
Data retention
We retain order and invoice records for the period required by Indian tax and consumer-protection law (typically seven years). Accounts inactive for more than three years may be archived or deleted on request.
User rights
You may request a copy of your personal data, correct inaccuracies, port your data to another service, or ask us to delete your account. Email support@maple.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Children
MAPLE's services are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If a parent or guardian believes a child has provided data, please contact us for prompt deletion.
Changes
We may update this policy to reflect new features, legal requirements, or best practice. Material changes will be announced on the homepage and by email to registered users at least 14 days before they take effect.
